Cold Turkey Contest: Day 5
Hey Quitters,
It's now Day 5 of the 7 Day Challenge. Congrats, you're over the hump, but there is still a couple days to go.
To get you through the next few days and beyond, here are our top tricks for beating cravings:

Keep yourself distracted. Cravings only last a couple minutes, so you just need to find away to focus on anything else. A quick burst of exercise, a game on your phone, whatever works for you.

Chew your way through it. Keep your mouth busy by chewing on some gum, a toothpicks, or eating some sunflower seeds.

Drink some water. A cold glass of water does wonders to suppress cravings and keep you feeling refreshed.

Take some deep breaths. Close your eyes and breathe in slowly for a count of three and exhale for a count of three. Repeat until you feel yourself relax and the craving lift.

Talk it out. Never under estimate the power of a little support. Talk to a Quit Coach or meet other quitters over in our Community Forum.
